Place the four white corner pieces in their spots to complete the bottom layer.
Goal: put the four white corners in place and finish the first layer. When it is done, the bottom face is all white and every side colour of the bottom layer matches the centre above it.
Recognise the case
Find a corner with a white sticker in the top layer. Its two other colours tell you where it goes. Rotate the whole cube so the centres of those two colours are in front and on the right. Then turn the top layer to bring the corner to the top front right, right above its place. The case depends on where the white sticker faces.
White faces right
The white corner is at the top front right with white facing right. Do the right-hand move (R U R' U') once.
White faces up
The white corner is at the top front right with white facing up. Do the right-hand move (R U R' U') 3 times.
White faces the front
The white corner is at the top front right with white facing the front. Do the right-hand move (R U R' U') 5 times.
Wrong at the bottom
No white corner is left in the top layer, but a white corner is wrong in the bottom layer. Rotate the whole cube so this corner is at the bottom front right. Do the right-hand move (R U R' U') once: the corner comes up to the top layer. Then place it like any top corner.
What to do
With the corner above its place, do the right-hand move (R U R' U'): once if white faces right, 3 times if white faces up, 5 times if white faces the front. The repeats scramble the top layer; that is fine, the later stages solve it.

When: To put a white corner in place. Keep the corner at the top front right; repeat 1 time if white faces right, 3 times if white faces up, 5 times if white faces front.
Finger tip: Turn the right face up and down with your right hand and push the top layer with your right index finger. Count the moves out loud.
